Our keynote programme is announced as speakers are confirmed. Each keynote bridges clinical work and evidence, the thread that runs through the whole congress.
Maria Terese Engell
DVM, PhD · Norway
Veterinarian and researcher on horse–rider interaction. Her research examines how the rider’s position and movement influence equine performance, health and welfare.
Norunn Kogstad
MD, PhD candidate · Norway
Psychiatrist and psychodynamic psychotherapist exploring the relational and regulatory processes that make horses well suited to therapeutic work.

A compact capital between fjord and forest
Oslo in late May is long daylight, blossom and easy distances: a walkable city where the venue, hotels and waterfront sit within a few tram stops of each other.
Accommodation
Rooms are held at partner hotels across central Oslo. Book early because May is a busy month.
Transport
Oslo Airport to the city centre takes about 20 minutes by express train. Trams and metro reach the venue directly.
Leisure activities
Explore optional excursions around the fjord, Nordic stables and the city’s museums before and after the congress.
